My Dream: A Luxury Villa

Even as a little girl, it was my dream to one day live in a luxury villa. That wish was practically burned into me. With my boyfriend, I spent two weeks on a beach vacation on the dream island of Mauritius. Something unimaginable happened.
The front desk called in the evening: "Would you mind moving for the last five days of your stay?" I was a bit baffled. I couldn't imagine what that meant at that moment.
"We need your room. We got more conference guests and are offering you our luxury villa at no extra charge. Of course, if you like, we'll help pack your bags."
I held my breath. A dream was about to come true for me. We could never have afforded this. Even when booking, I had looked longingly at the luxury villa. But it was simply out of reach for us.
The Bags Were Packed for the Move
I couldn't have imagined this in my wildest dreams.
The luxury villa was a dream:
- spacious rooms
- two dreamy bathrooms
- a beautiful pool
- butler service
- an XXL king-size bed
- fresh fruit
- a dreamy view of the ocean
How lucky we were. It was so beautiful, and I still think of that lovely time every day.

We're Doing Everything We Can to Make It Happen
The vacation spurred us on tremendously, and we had only one goal left: our own luxury villa. If we save and eventually move out to the countryside, we could make it in the next five years.
We want to make our dream a reality. We're constantly doing the math and don't miss a weekend to check out the area within 60 miles. Where is there a vacant lot to build on? We look at houses and sketch them at home. Our dream vision is simply our vacation in Mauritius.
It was all perfect, as beautiful as it could possibly have been. I also believe in wishes coming true. I wanted it so badly that in the end this coincidence entered our lives on vacation. And that's how it should go on. Fate only gave us a foretaste. I'm absolutely sure of that, and the main delivery of my wish will come true.
Maybe we can buy a plot of land very cheaply from a farmer. Or a family has to sell everything quickly because they're moving abroad. The purchase prices drop in the coming years for whatever reasons.
I'm hoping for a miracle, and those always happen when you're not thinking about them at all. That's how it is, right? On vacation I could never have imagined that such a situation would come about!
